Laser Spine Institute Applications Developer in Tampa, Florida

The Applications Developer is required to understand our business process and develop and configure products to meet our business needs. The position will work with other business and clinical application stakeholders in the group to ensure the seamless flow of data among the systems. Responsible for technical direction, architecture, adoption, governance and support of several applications across multiple functional areas.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand strategy and contributes to achievement of business goals within assigned applications

  • Uses critical analysis and architecture skills to design elegant technical solutions for Company‚Äôs business needs

  • Design the data model, user interface, business logic and security for custom applications

  • Develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce and NextGen Healthcare

  • Work closely with end-users to improve user experience

Uses Agile and Lean principles to ensure speed-to-market of solutions and maximum business value capture

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


  • Associates degree + 2 years experience or 5 years related experience


  • 3 years configuration, customization and development experience with CRM and/or healthcare applications

Preferred Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience


  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce/ API and toolkits for integration

  • NextGen EHR template development experience

  • Advanced Object Oriented Design and Development skills

  • Hands on knowledge of Controllers, Triggers, JQuery, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, UNIX, XML, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, and CSS

  • Experience with working in Agile methodology

License/ Certifications:

  • SFDC Developer
